I am having a “thing” with Guinness right now.
Lately it’s all about these freaking donuts. I’m sorry. I am almost over my donut binge. Just a few more recipes, and this one is SERIOUSLY worth it!

I think this carrot cake is kind of like carrot cake for people who don’t like carrot cake. Or at least not the kind filled with little bits of fruity, pulpy, nutty stuff. It is moist and lightly spiced and filled with sweet carrots. Very delicious.
This is my husband’s favorite dessert. It is a lesser known cousin of the well known favorite baklava. My husband loves it for the rich and creamy custard that is not too sweet. It is enclosed in a blanket of crispy and buttery filo and two layers of sweet and crunchy walnuts and cinnamon.
I have been meaning to make marshmallows with my daughter Pia for ages. She loooves marshmallows, and I thought what better time to make them than for Valentines Day?
Raspberry Cupcakes with Vanilla Bean Butter Cream Frosting These were actually the first try as my daughter and I set out to make Pinkalicious cupcakes. My three year old daughter has a favorite book, and it is called “Pinkalicious.” I suspect that if you have a young daughter or granddaughter that you know exactly what I am talking about right now.
