This Red Velvet Strawberry Chocolate Cake is like all things Valentines Day baked into a cake.

Christmas Cookie Baking has begun!!
I saw this cookie recipe recently, and felt totally compelled to make it. They are called loft house sugar cookies (I don’t know why? Do you?) and they are like the ones you find in coffee shops. You know, the big, pale vanilla cake like cookies slathered in pink buttercream frosting?
They really wanted me to make something “Halloweeny.” And because Pia was involved, it had to be chocolate. I thought about my poor old whoopie pie pan that hasen’t been used since this.
