Pin ItWhether you live in Seattle or maybe you have seen the footage of our epic snow storm here (don’t laugh if you live somewhere where snow is normal!)- for us Seattleites this is pretty serious!
Ok- nobody be mad. But I might have to start sprinkling some slightly less healthy recipes in.
If you haven’t whipped up a batch of cookies for Santa or other Christmas festivities yet I wanted to round up a bunch of delicious cookies so you would have the best of the season right at your fingertips.
Holy cow. This has been a really crazy week.
These gingersnaps come to me from my dear friend Missy’s mom Merriann. Merriann was just telling me that her mother Marie, used to makes these when she was a kid- so this is a tried and true recipe, dating back several generations.
Candy Cane Meringues are the prettiest, most delicate and delicious holiday cookie. They are super crispy on the outside, and lovely and chewy on the inside while being perfectly sweet and minty!
A little while back, I posed a question in one of my posts, “what’s your family’s favorite Holiday cookie?” I was pretty surprised that one of the standouts that I heard over and over again was Peanut Butter Kisses. Should I be embaressed that I have never even heard of these!? Probably.
I saw this cookie recipe recently, and felt totally compelled to make it. They are called loft house sugar cookies (I don’t know why? Do you?) and they are like the ones you find in coffee shops. You know, the big, pale vanilla cake like cookies slathered in pink buttercream frosting?
One of my traditional Christmas Season Cookies is this Chocolate, Pistachio and Cranberry Biscotti. I have always loved biscotti, and it is a favorite with afternoon coffee in my house.
