Ballet Flat Makeover
May 22nd, 2012
I just thought I would share this quickie craft with you.
Mason chewed up Pia’s flats. Not only did they get a good layer of slobber on them, but he ribbed off the tuille flower embellishments that used to be there.
Well, there was no way that I was letting these perfectly good shoes go to waste.
I headed to the fabric store and snapped up some velvet flowers.
A little hot glue…
and voila!
A Ballet Flat makeover! This could certainly work for grown up ballet flats too.

ADORABLE!

Ooh! I bet Pia was just prancing around in her pretty shoes! My daughter would love to pick out a pretty flower to perk up her shoes!
Thanks!

Oh girl…what don’t you do?! I’m inspired to bust out my inner craftiness (something that doesn’t come out often) for these shoes…

That is also a great idea to dress up a pair of blah, boring, plain shoes.
