Easter Centerpieces
March 28th, 2012
This is about the easiest thing ever. Not to mention just lovely and perfect for your Easter table.
I am going to be featuring this pretty centerpiece, as well as a bunch of other Easter crafts on Access Hollywood tomorrow. Please, oh pretty please tune in!
I will be sharing my ideas and getting my craft on with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. Can you believe it?! I’m dying!
OK- back to the centerpiece:
First choose some of the beautiful spring bulbs that we have in season right now. Daffodils, hyacinth and grape hyacinth are some of my favorites. I also think that wheat grass would be very cute for this.
Select a few pretty baskets or planters. (mine are inexpensive tin wrapped in sheets of bark.) If you need the height- squish up some paper towels in the bottoms of the planter.
Then put the plants (still in their plastic containers) inside the basket or planter. As many as will fit please! (mine happened to fit two in each container.)
Pile bright green moss (available at any floral sale place- or even your grocery store floral department) around the edges of the planter, covering up the plastic and the dirt.
Done!
These planters would look beautiful down the center of a diningroom table. I placed them on a runner made from moss squares and then piled dyed eggs at the base of them.
Here are some sneak previews of some of the other crafts I am featuring on access Hollywood.

so pretty, I love using flowering pots from the grocery and nursery for living arrangements in the home.

How did you get your Easter eggs those pretty colors? I’ve never seen such cool colors that have a custom look to them. Hope you’ll have a link to a video for your Access Hollywood show today, I missed it. I went to their website, but couldn’t locate a video of your segment.
