Vodka Daisy

This Vodka Daisy is a deliciously sweet and sour cocktail. I love the pretty pink color, which makes it a wonderful choice for showers, girls nights, brunches or just eye candy! Watch out though, as pretty as these are- they are strong!

Vodka Daisy

Serves 1
-2 oz vodka
-juice of ½ lemon
-1 tsp grenadine
-1 tsp powdered sugar or simple syrup
-cracked or crushed ice

1) Mix all ingredients except for the grenadine in a cocktail shaker.

2) Shake and strain into a chilled martini or cocktail glass.

3) Add the grenadine- it will sink to the bottom, but turn the drink pink.

4) I like to garnish with a fresh berry or a stir stick (shown here).
